Features:
The SW22 offers as standard equipment: adjustable
straddle legs, free lift masts, deep cycle battery
pack with built-in charger, battery discharge indicator
and key lock.
Controls Ergonomics:
The controls of the SW22 are designed for intuitive
operation through an articulated and swiveling
handle. The controls are grouped together on the
upper part of the handle, and include:
- selection of 3 speeds forward and reverse, through
two butterfly controls.
- lifting of forks through push buttons, lowering
through separate lever.
Drive Motor:
Powerful, reliable electric 0.6 kw motor with
high overload capacity and remarkable efficiency.
Speed selection:
Three Speed Forward and reverse magnetic resistant
controls.
Brake:
Adjustable electromagnetic disc brake provides
reliable stopping with all loads. Braking is automatic
in the vertical and horizontal position of the
handle while the electric circuit on traction
is isolated.
Steering:
Pedestrian operated steering handle. Handle can
be swiveled through 90 degrees to either side
and complies with safety regulations.
Drive Wheel:
Easily replaceable polyurethane tire, dia. 7.9".
Load Wheels:
Single polyurethane load wheels, 4" dia.,
2" wide.
Mast:
The SW22 is available with a single mast of 62"
lift or with telescopic masts of 112" or
128". Telescopic masts have Free Lift of
7" for easy access through doors or on trailers.
The inner profiles of the mast and fork carriage
are fitted with roller bearings.

Lifting
and lowering:
Hydraulically through high pressure pump with 1.8
kw powerful motor.
Straddle legs:
Truck comes standard with oversized, adjustable
straddle legs.
Batteries / Charger:
Deep cycle batteries 2 x 12 V - 100 Ah with built-in
charger.
Safety:
The SW series has been engineered under modern
safety aspects with such items as:
- "deadman" braking system, which is
activated upon release of the handle
-safety reversing "belly button" switch
on the handle, thus reducing the chances of injury
-rubber skirt to protect the driver's feet
-"high visibility" masts for better
view on the load and forks
The ruggedly constructed drive train and hydraulic
system allow transport of loads safely and easily.
Maintenance:
All electric and hydraulic components are easily
accessible. Control fuses are immediately accessible
and protected under the upper bonnet. All Multiton
spare parts are available within a remarkable
short delivery time.
Quality:
Multiton straddle stackers are designed to last
for years of trouble free operation. MIG welded
steel sheet frame. The robust forged forks are
adjustable on the wide fork carriage. Thick steel
sheet bumpers wrap around the drive unit. Every
truck goes through a detailed quality inspection
before being shipped.
